"PUMPING POO WITH PANACHE"
the TRUTH
behind the SLOGAN

The Story so far .....

Once Upon A Time...

a guy called Jeremy Brownlee started a Sewage and Waste Water company in a shed in his back garden.

From these humble beginnings Pump Technology Limited grew into the company that it is now with highly knowledgeable and specialist staff further supplemented with associates, installers and linked companies all over the UK and Ireland.

Now Jeremy (who is not known for suffering fools gladly and tends to get his own way) decided that the company needed a catchy and zingy slogan. Not for him the "Specialists in Domestic Black Water" or "Fluid Engineering for Waste Water" type of thing.   No, Jeremy wanted a slogan that TELLS IT LIKE IT IS.

SO .............. PUMPING POO WITH PANACHE was created.
Not everyone liked (or likes) Jeremy's slogan, but does he care? does he Heck!

Type Pumping Poo With Panache in to any search engine and see what you can find ..............

Some of the Pump Technology Team wearing their "Pumping Poo With Panache" T-Shirts while on a "technical" (right guys, whatever you say, BUT we heard there was some "drinking" involved) visit to one of
Pump Technology's suppliers Jung Pumpen in Germany.

Incidentally the guy in the suit is from Jung Pumpen !!! and the vote for the best "filled" T-Shirt goes to
Amanda from the Pump Technology Technical Support team!

Not content with having created the slogan (or tag line as we sometimes like to call it) Jeremy and the Pump Technology team set to work to include it in much of their publicity and promotional materials. This has not been without its problems as some (nose in the air) publications and organisations have deemed "Pumping Poo With Panache" far too risqué or just too down right common to grace their august pages or events. Do we care? Not a lot!

The Slogan is currently making the rounds on one of the Pump Technology Vehicles and has featured on the company T-Shirts for several years now.

Could this be the solution to the "Eco" car.
This is London Irish Power or "4 ruggerplayer" power as
it's known in the motoring business.

The "POO" Theme CONTINUES ........................

Not one to let a good idea lie dormant, PT's Jeremy Brownlee has set about fitting "POO" number plates to several of the Pump Technology Ltd. vehicles.
Examples of the fleet are pictured below - by the way, BO55 POO belongs to Jeremy - who else?

Logo motive

It always pays for a trainer to send out a few winners for his yard sponsor. It helps keep them sweet.

At Newbury on Friday Jonny Portman excelled in this department when Russian Rosie, in which his sponsor Jeremy Brownlee has a share, was the particularly impressive winner of the two-year-old maiden fillies' race. She has a bright future. Jonny has also won for him this season with Odessa Star and Inflagranti.

Of course part of the sponsorship package at Hamilton Stables is to have the horsebox decked out in the logo and livery of the sponsor, in this case Jeremy's company Pump Technology Ltd. But therein lies a minor problem.

Pump Technology Ltd is a company that makes pumps for the sewage and waste water industry and its logo, which Jeremy would like to have plastered all over the lorry, is 'Pumping Poo with Panache.'

"I've told him it's not quite the image I'm trying to foster," insists Jonny dryly. "I've said he can only do it if Odessa Star, which he bought out of a claimer, wins a Listed race. I think I'm safe."

When some London Irish fans saw details of the "Pumping Poo With Panache" T-Shirts they asked if they could have some to wear at various matches.

Here they are wearing their shirts at a Falcons match!

Looking at the logo on the Falcons mascot, we wonder if the caption of this picture should be "S**t Happens"?

Shorts Sponsorship Magazine Article
You may have noticed a new name on the shorts this season. After 2 seasons as box holders we are delighted to see the Pump Technology Limited Logo proudly displayed on the London Irish home and away playing shorts for the 2008/2009 season. Based in Aldermaston and established in 1992 after years of experience in the pump business, they are now industry leaders in their field.

This new venture for the company marks a long standing commitment to London Irish Rugby Club and Community Rugby, having already been staunch supporters of the exiles and local club Tadley RFC for many years. They also sponsor Steffon, Seilala, Elvis and Sailosi.

Commenting on the new agreement, Jeremy Brownlee, M.D. or Pump Technology said "We have always been a people business and I firmly believe in supporting local and regional sport as much as I can. As an ex rugby player myself I derive great pleasure from being involved with this great club".
